It allows you to easily view what each font will make your sentence look like... and it allows you to move fonts to the trash without first quitting all open apps (which the Finder doesn't allow you to do). It has formatting, printing, dragging, and even font suitcase name fixing features. For in-depth info on how to use it, see the tutorial.

Version History
1.4.3
Ñ Now possible to change the size of the font *names* in the Font Samples Viewer by selecting the ones you want in the floating window and then using the new menu at the bottom of the Edit menu - yes, someone actually requested this.
Ñ Fixed a bug brought in by the previous release which caused the "Relist" function to still show fonts that had been deleted
1.4.2
Ñ Now searches sub-folders within the fonts folder (up to a point... if you feel it is too limited for your needs, please e-mail me), the scan-depth is set in the preferences window, default is 0 (no subfolder searching)
Ñ Now warns the user that selecting a new fonts folder is not going to let them view samples of uninstalled fonts
Ñ Fixed the bug which could tell the user that the folder contains no fonts, even when it does
1.4.1
Ñ New option to toggle font styles by holding option and clicking the Bold/Italic/Underline buttons with multiple fonts selected
Ñ Finder icon for Fontastic! should now be visible
Ñ Small bugs fixed - mostly unnoticable
1.4
Ñ Hopefully you didn't download 1.3 - it didn't really save preferences! - Fixed
Ñ New feature called "Fix font names" which helps you to get more of your fonts listed in the "Enable Delete Function" mode - you can even use this to see if a font suitcase is being used by the system or not, and if not, delete it (because it's corrupted)
Ñ Many more window's positions/heights are now saved
1.3
Ñ "Print" and "Print Selection" commands added
Ñ Floating Controls window (with font list box) implemented which means:
* Sample box no longer used for selecting fonts - instead use list box in controls window
* Ability to change formatting for multiple font samples via the list box
* Ability to delete and print multiple font samples via the list box
* Ability to drag out multiple non-contiguous font samples via the list box
Ñ Smart option to change the folder to look in when using limited font view mode (for ATM users and the like) - won't let you choose a folder without fonts
Ñ Preferences window added (access via Edit->Preferences) - contains font folder changing method, font name color changing method and auto-relist preferences
Ñ Full tutorial introduced
Ñ Deleting fonts now re-lists the sample box (assuming this option is checked), sorry
1.2
Ñ Names of fonts are now colored in the color of your choice, so as to make it simpler to distinguish them from the samples
Ñ Populating the sample fonts box should be a bit faster in general, and now shows the text "Populating......" so you know what's happening
Ñ Deleting fonts is much faster, because the box is not repopulated
Ñ Fixed bug introduced in 1.1 which caused the program to not work at all, until a window resize, if it's preferences were not present
Ñ Fixed bug introduced in 1.1 which caused the format buttons to function incorrectly after first use on the same line
1.1
Ñ Added tons of balloon help!
Ñ Fixed bug which could cause the "Delete Font" menu to be enabled when it shouldn't have been
Ñ Fixed bug which would cause the font size of unrelated text to change.
Ñ Added "Show All Fonts" menu item, which disables Delete Font menu item.
Ñ Now stores preferences for window position and size as well as whether or not "Show All Fonts" is chosen.
Ñ Closing the main window now quits the program, as there is no re-open method, and no reason for closing it, other than to quit.
Ñ Changed the "Delete Font" menu item to "Trash Font..." to reflect the warning which allows you to cancel, and to show you that it just trashes the font, not really deleting it.
